What Do Fashion People Do All Day? Answers From the Spring 2026 Runways

Pulling for Vogue Runway’s seasonal trend reports I usually end up with several thousand pictures saved on my desktop. Once the main themes are determined and images selected, I go through the remaining assets one more time looking for unexpected stories.

Those collected here, from the spring 2026 shows, are action focused and suggestive of how designers and stylists imagine fashion people live, which is on the go. They have an affinity with the arts (naturally), are marginally sporty, believe in print (all those books), can transform a bath towel into a full look, and have money on their minds.
