Warriors Acquiring Jimmy Butler in Blockbuster Trade With Heat
The Golden State Warriors are acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat in a blockbuster trade, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Warriors are sending Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson, and a protected first-round pick to the Heat for Butler.
The Detroit Pistons are also involved in the deal. They’re acquiring Lindy Waters III from Golden State and Josh Richardson from Miami.

The Warriors, after calling just about every team in the hopes of landing a superstar, finally get a running mate for Stephen Curry.
As for the Heat, they finally move off of Jimmy Butler after a tumultuous season that included multiple suspensions and trade rumors.
