US: Wall St indexes open mixed after jobs data

Wall Street opened mixed on Thursday (Sep 4) after a weaker-than-expected private payrolls report, while Salesforce shares dropped as the cloud company gave a downbeat revenue forecast.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 66.4 points, or 0.15 per cent, at the open to 45,204.87.

The S&P 500 rose 8.3 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 6,456.6​, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 42.2 points, or 0.20 per cent, to 21,539.91. REUTERS
