These 5 Shoe Trends at Nordstrom Are So Chic They Might Just Become Your New Personality

If you’re anything like me, you often plan your outfits around your chosen shoes for the day. For that very reason, shoes hold such importance in my closet every season. They are the backbone of my looks so to speak, so I always keep them top of mind when doing both personal and professional shopping deep-dives. With spring and summer 2026 in mind, I recently took note of the latest shoe trends to see what my closet might be missing. I then promptly hit up Nordstrom, thanks to their endless selection of chic shoes, to see what standouts would catch my eye.

I ended up narrowing it down to five particular trending shoe styles, ranging from classic-leaning slingback heels and flats to more fashion-forward picks like flip-flops and jelly shoes. I made sure to curate a nice selection for each style and included some visual outfit inspiration for each. Keep scrolling to check out the chic shoe trends that will bring compliments and have you staring at your feet all day long.
