These $40 Gap Sandals Are Just as Cool as the $600 Designer Pair That’s Been on My Mind Since Last Spring

It is abundantly clear (no pun intended) that jelly sandals grabbed the fashion set’s attention last spring and summer, especially the Chloé ankle-strap jelly sandal and The Row’s jelly styles. The return of jelly shoes really struck a nostalgic chord among fashion people and this year is no different. I initially held off buying a pair, thinking this would just be a passing fad, but I still find myself coveting a pair of my own.

Thankfully, I came across a much more affordable option to Chloé’s sleek sandals that satisfies my craving. The $40 Gap alternative is even on sale for just $19 in most color options. At a price this low, I may even cave on a couple colors since it’s hard to settle on just one.
