Selena Gomez Is Now Backing The Puffy Bob
Selena Gomez knows her way around a bob. In recent years, the actor has tried out almost every type of bob you could imagine. There was the softly waved bob at the American French Film Festival, the old Hollywood bob at the Golden Globes, and the wet-look, flipped bob at the 4th Academy Museum Gala in October. Sure, she’s returned to long hair on a handful of occasions but, to be honest, the bob is synonymous with many of her red carpet appearances. This weekend was no different.

Seen at the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival yesterday, Gomez brought an entirely new bob to the party. Let’s call it the puffy bob or, for short, the “Pob.”
The work of celebrity hairstylist (and Gomez’s long-time collaborator) Renato Campora, her bob had a natural volume, reminiscent of that first perfect, yet slightly humid, summer evening. Cut just above the shoulders, the undone texture looked like the effect you might get from sleeping in loose rope twists with a charming, naturally fluffy quality.
