I know we're all trying to squeeze the best from the last bits of summer left, so you'll have to pardon me for turning your attention towards fall for the time being. What can I say? I'm a fall girl through and through, so as soon as the glimmer of its arrival begins to show, I'm jumping at the opportunity to outfit plan, research trends, and of course, shop.

At the start of a new season, there are several key basics that are fundamental to any wardrobe. While summer's looked like sandals, shorts, and tanks, my fall lineup consists of four hero items: jeans, jackets, flats, and sweaters.
