It’s Officially Fall: Dua Lipa Has Pants On

After a summer of bedazzled bodysuits for stage, a suite of teeny bikinis for every tour stop, and sheer dresses in every variation possible, Dua Lipa is slowly embracing fall dressing.

The pop star has spent the last few days in New York performing a string of shows at Madison Square Gardens. (Last night, she brought out Nile Rodgers to perform “Le Freak”). She’s also kept herself busy in the day, repping her new role as founder and creative director at the at-home reformer pilates workout company Frame, and greeting fans at a Radical Optimism pop-up.

Photographed yesterday out and about in New York pre-show, Lipa wore a black tank top and black straight-leg leather pants with silver buckle detailing, black stilettos with a tortoiseshell heel, a Tom Ford double T leather shoulder bag held like a clutch, and angular black sunglasses. The final accessory? A green juice.

It’s a surefire signal that summer is officially over. when the summer vacation photo dumps start to peter out, and Lipa puts on her most sensible pair of pants.
