Israel issues warning to Iranians near military sites

The Israeli military on Sunday issued a warning of possible pending attacks to Iranians living or working close to potential military targets.

"Urgent warning to all people who are now, or will in the future be, within or in the vicinity of weapons factories and their ancillary facilities in Iran," a military spokesman said in Farsi in a video with accompanying text posted on X.

People should "leave these areas as quickly as possible and not return to protect their lives and safety," as remaining there could be lethal, the message said.

Tensions have soared after Israel launched a major strike on military and nuclear sites in Iran on Friday, prompting a deadly exchange of retaliatory attacks over the past three days.
