Before the start of the pandemic my family moved into my childhood home. We had another baby on the way and were more than happy to get all the help we could from my mom. Fast forward to now—we stuck around, but the difference is my mom has moved in with her boyfriend and gave us her blessing to redecorate the house however we saw fit. Needless to say, we are so excited to give each room an update that aligns more with our aesthetic. First up, the dining room.

To start, I figured it would help to put together a dining room mood board of sorts that would help narrow down the feel of what we are going for: an elevated, timeless, and chic farmhouse vibe. I, naturally, leaned into European inspiration, just as I do with my closet.
