I Recently Put Old Navy Activewear to the Test–Read My Honest Thoughts
One of my favorite ways to get active is by going on a long walk around my neighborhood. Traditionally, I haven’t always cared much about what I wear to work out. I usually opt for whatever old tee or comfy sweats I have on hand. However, in 2026, I’m changing that.
Since I literally shop for a living, I decided to try out some activewear pieces on my long walks to see if they worked well for my needs. When I was thinking up brands I’m interested in trying, I immediately thought of trying Old Navy’s activewear line. I’ve been hearing really great things from friends, family, and internet besties for a while now, so I decided to give the brand’s activewear pieces a try.
Upon scrolling through the website, a few things became very clear. There was such a robust selection of items, including but not limited to leggings, jackets, tops, sweats, and so much more. On top of that, just about every style I clicked into was available in sizes XXS up to a 4X. Yes, you heard that correctly. The plus-size options were definitely there, along with tall and petite-sized items.

Old Navy High Support Powersoft Sports Bra Review

High Support Powersoft Sports Bra
I wore this bra with every look I tried, and it meshed seamlessly with everything, including the jackets and t-shirts. I didn’t see any noticeable lines, which was definitely a bonus. I also loved that the bra smoothed out some of my back rolls rather than causing bulging from an improper fit. Since I was mostly walking,g I didn’t utilize the high support aspect of it a lot. However, I did do some jumping jacks to see how it held up, and I was pleasantly surprised by the support it provided while doing that intensive action. Honestly, one of the most impressive things about this bra is that it’s cury person friendly. The sizes ranged from 32C to 46D, with a few triple D and double DD sizes available.

Suppose you’re looking for a solid length workout jacket. It’s your lucky day. First off, the fabric is so, so very soft and feels genuinely way more expensive than it actually is. I feel like with the Old Navy active, I tried out,t you totally get the most bang for your buck. I wore this open with the Power Soft Sports bra, partially or fully zipped. The pockets fit a lot more than you realize, too. When I went for a walk wearing this, it was a chillier day, but I felt an adequate amount of protection.

Extra High-Waisted Powersoft Rib Flare Leggings
These ribbed flare leggings from the Powersoft fabric line were pretty comfortable. The fabric was a little bit thinner than the other leggings I tried, but It was still soft feeling and stylish. They were comfortable to walk in and had minimal if any chafing. I’m a sucker for a flared leg, so style wise I definitely vibed with this pair of leggings. A big problem I have with leggings is that so many ride down or slip a little. This was not the case at all with these.
