I Only Wear Skirts and Dresses—These Are the Best Ones From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

As someone who lives in skirts and dresses year-round, I always gravitate toward them first when I'm shopping. Don't get me wrong. I'm not opposed to the perfect pair of Levi's or a cute pair of capris, but truthfully? My closet is filled with more maxis, midis, and minis than any other type of clothing. When the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale—the retailer's biggest fashion event of the year—comes each year, skirts and dresses are the first thing I look for.

Right now, early access is open exclusively to Nordstrom cardmembers. Access is tiered by your annual spend: Icons shop July 8–11, Ambassadors July 9–11, and Influencers July 10–11. If you're not a cardholder, the sale opens to everyone on July 12.

With that in mind, I scrolled through pages of product listings to find the skirts and dresses actually worth seeing—from pleated to plaid.
