I Could Teach A Class On Buying Jackets—These Are Hands-Down the Best Out There Right Now

Since moving to the East Coast from sunny California roughly 10 years ago, a lot in my lifestyle has changed—and my closet has followed suit. Aside from investing in sensible footwear for everyday, cold-weather accessories for winter, and large but lightweight totes for schlepping, I've become somewhat of an outerwear connoisseur. I especially love shopping for fall jackets, in particular, because you can go a little heavier than spring and summer, but don't have to go full puffer mode like you do in winter.
