Fall is my favorite season for fashion. Period. I’ve shared shopping guides already of my initial fall favorites. I even created fall outfit ideas from Nordstrom. Well, I thought I’d continue with outfit inspiration with five fall looks I think are wildly chic for the season. I also should note that the images below are all ensembles I’ve sent to those in my inner circle when they’ve asked for ideas.

This look with the lace-trim top underneath a sweater is a combo the fashion crowd continues to gravitate toward. Sweater-wise, the higher-neck V-neck sweater is very chic here, as is the cuff over the sleeve.

A funnel-neck jacket is a fall staple. I’m telling all of my friends to consider one this season to wear with sleek trousers (pictured here), jeans, skirts, really, anything.

A plaid shirt is cool and relevant right now. Consider styling it open with a tee underneath and relaxed pants. Flip-flops could work now, but you could swap in a sneaker or a pair of flats when the temperatures drop a bit more.

You can’t deny the chicness of a suede jacket. Toss one over a simple dress or a skirt-and-sweater combo for an elegant silhouette.

A ’90s-esque blazer is very right-now and works flawlessly with jeans for a polished yet low-key vibe.
