Tragic crash photos and videos have emerged showing the torched lamborghini car where soccer player Diogo Jota and his brother died in Spain.

Be forewarned that the images are disturbing because of the nature of the tragedy; they show that the Lamborghini was essentially obliterated at the scene and caught fire.

Reuters published a video showing the images and crash scene. According to Mirror, which also published crash scene photos, they were first published by Spanish media.

Liverpool.com, which published a photo, described the picture as “harrowing” because it shows that the vehicle was almost completely obliterated. Photos also were published on Getty Images.

“The club have been informed the 28-year-old has passed away following a road traffic accident in Spain along with his brother, Andre,” the statement continued.

According to CNN, authorities used documents at the scene and the car’s license plate to identify the victims of the crash as the vehicle was obliterated by the fire.

Jota was married only three weeks ago, and he posted wedding photos on Instagram.

Tributes are now flowing in for the soccer star after his untimely death.
