Maybe you had a bluebird day on the slopes, parallel turning down perfectly powdered trails. Whatever your aptitude on the slopes, we all end up at the same magnificent place at the end of the day: après. For me, the sensation of clicking out of my ski boots and transitioning to après is best described as euphoric. The flutes of Champagne and crackling fireplaces don’t hurt, nor do the simmering pots of fondue, but the detail I find most praiseworthy is the uniform—and the best après-ski sweaters are essential to the look.
