A Good Sandal-Worthy Pedicure Is Everything to Me—7 Stylish Summer Nail Colors I Can't Stop Wearing

You'll never catch me without a pedicure in the summer months. As someone who almost exclusively wears open-toed shoes in warm weather, I need my feet to be in tip-top shape. Honestly, though, I just love pedicures. Whether I book a salon appointment or I go the DIY route, it's A) an opportunity for some much-needed TLC and B) an easy and effective way to feel chic, confident, and put-together. I love when my toes peek out from my pant legs with a bright pop of glossy color.

There are countless colors to choose from, but this summer, I'm sticking to seven, stylish shades. Some of them are inspired by the fashion crowd (friends, celebs, and cool coworkers). Others are tried-and-true summer staples. Keep scrolling!

Limoncello

Butter yellow was *the* color of the 2025...up until now that is. That's because celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian are switching it out for a slightly different shade—a citrusy, lemon-inspired one that I'm calling "limoncello" after the iconic Italian lemon liqueur. It's a soft and sophisticated take on yellow that, when paired with a glossy top coat, looks so chic for summer.

Periwinkle

If you want a pedicure that pops, reach for a bottle of periwinkle nail polish. The blue-violet color is equal parts sleek and ethereal, which is why I think it's one of the coolest colors for summer 2025. The last time I painted my nails with this color, I received an insane amount of compliments. Multiple people asked me what shade it was. The answer? Londontown's Lakur Amalfi Love Nail Polish ($16).

Ultramarine

If you know me, you know I love ultramarine nail polish. I wear it on my fingers and my toes, but I prefer it on the latter. I basically live at the beach in the summer, so I love when my pedicure pops against the sand and complements the color of the water—this is it. While I've collected quite a few ultramarine nail polishes over the years, I have two favorites. The first is an iconic drugstore shade—Essie's Butler Please ($10). The second is devastatingly luxe and extremely saturated—Hermes' 62 Bleu Electrique ($60). The latter is pricey, but so worth it IMO.

Cherry Red

What can I say about cherry red that hasn't already been said? The classic pedicure color is a...well, classic for a reason. It's a luxurious, strong, and sophisticated color, and it has a timeless relevance. Since cherry red is a staple in any nail polish collection, I like to invest in super-saturated, designer shades. I love Chanel's 147 Incendiare ($33) for a bright and orange-leaning take on the color. I love Dior's 999 Rouge ($34) for classic, old-Hollywood vibes. Last but certainly not least, I love Hermes' 64 Rouge Casaque ($62). It's one of my favorite red nail polishes ever. I pair it with the Rouge Hermes Matte Lipstick ($81) in the same shade.

Ripe Apricot

An apricot pedicure is SO underrated in my book. It gives summer in the South of France. It gives expensive Palm Springs country club. It gives summer in South Beach. I guess what I'm saying is that it's a timeless and versatile shade that never fails to make its wearer look chic and sophisticated. It's really *that girl.*

Crisp White

Bright white is another tried-and-true pedicure color. It's fresh and clean-looking. It pops against sun-kissed skin. It suits every situation (and sandal). It's iconic.

Chocolate Brown

I know what you're thinking. Chocolate brown is usually a color reserved for fall and winter, right? Yes, but I invite you to flip that limiting belief on its head. To me, chocolate brown is the perfect summer pedicure color. It's rich, warm, and simmering. It complements peachy makeup, gold jewelry, and sun-kissed skin. As always, a glossy topcoat is key, but if you do it right, you'll look like a golden beach goddess from your head down to your chic, chocolate-dipped toes.
