Fenty Beauty’s Fall-Coded Bodycare Launch Is All I’ll Be Using for the Rest of the Year
Holy fall do I have an exciting launch for you! As summer winds down and we move into the cooler months, let’s just say I’m starting to look into bodycare items that can quickly quench my rough, chapped skin without being greasy or cakey. Oh, and they also have to smell incredibly delicious. It might sound like a tall order, but I can assure you it’s not—especially if you’ve ever tried Fenty Beauty‘s Butta Drop line.
Honestly, it’s one of my favorites on the market. I could wax poetic for hours about it because it’s just a really gorgeous set of bodycare items. Hydration? Check! Skin that’s buttery smooth without feeling overly greasy? Also check! It’s luxurious and rich with a subtle, pretty fragrance I’d expect from a scent queen like Rihanna. It’s a line that’s always in the rotation, but now, the brand has done us one better and created a fall-coded limited-edition scent: salted caramel. Boy, oh boy, was I excited to get my hands on this launch. If you’ve been craving a salty-sweet bodycare line to drench yourself in for the coming fall season, look no further. Ahead, I’m sharing all my thoughts on Fenty’s new limited-edition scent. Act quickly because I have a sneaking suspicion that this scent will sell out quick.

Butta Drop Body Cream – Salted Caramel
I’ll start with the body butter because I’m biased. IMHO, it’s one of the best body butters out there, and the salted caramel scent just adds a little something extra. It contains seven different oils and butters that hug your skin like the coziest fall sweater. From Kalahari melon to sorrel, baobab, and sunflower to rice bran and coconut, it’s a smorgasbord of silky, hydrating oils that provide an incredible amount of hydration for hours on end.
I know what you’re thinking: If you’re acne-prone, this sounds like a nightmare and half, but I can tell you that I have the most sensitive, acne-prone skin, and it doesn’t cause a single breakout. It only leaves my skin feeling restored, renewed, and like a baby’s bottom well after I slather it on post-shower. You can thank other super hydrators like shea butter and glycerin for that. As for the salted caramel scent, it’s such a beautiful and subtle gourmand fragrance that I absolutely love. If you’re looking for something heavily scented, then this might not be your jam, but if you’re like me and love a scent that quietly lingers without overpowering, you’re in luck. It’s reminiscent of the most delicious and fragrant fall latte.

Butta Drop Hydrating Body Milk
If you’re looking for something a little more lightweight, the brand’s body milk might be a little more your speed. It has more of a lotion consistency, but don’t worry; it doesn’t lack in the hydration department. It still contains a host of luxe oils like melon, baobab, and coconut, but also contains Barbados cherry extract, which helps quench dehydrated skin.
I honestly love using the body milk during the summer because it’s a little lighter in consistency, but I won’t lie to you, I’ll be switching between this and the body butter for the rest of the year because I can’t get enough of the scent. It’s also designed to help boost the moisture barrier, keeping water and moisture locked in for days at a time.

Plush Puddin’ Intensive Recovery Lip Mask – Salted Caramel
Honestly, I’m not usually one for lip masks. Give me a good, simple lip balm, and I’m more than happy, but this one made me a convert so fast. Never have my lips felt so smooth, hydrated, and plush. For an ultimate treat, I’ll exfoliate beforehand and do this as an overnight treatment. Coconut, castor, and jojoba oil in the formula help your lips retain moisture so they appear fuller with more elasticity. Pomegranate sterols also help improve the lips’ moisture barrier so they’re less prone to dryness or dehydration.
While, yes, the lip mask formula keeps me coming back for more, I stay for the amazingly good salted caramel flavor, which smells like an actual bakery on my lips. I’m secretly hoping Fenty will make this flavor a permanent part of the collection or bring it back seasonally. Limited-edition simply won’t do. If it’s truly a one-time thing, best believe I’m stocking up.

Not much tops this ultra-luxurious body butter from Josie Maran. Maran offers some of the best clean bodycare items on the market because they somehow smell absolutely incredible but contain no synthetic fragrance. I don’t quite know how she does it, but Golden Hour in particular is a magical scent. And the hydration this body butter offers is out of this world. I’m also never sure if body butters that claim to firm the skin are really doing anything, but this is one I truly believe in.

The idea of using a body retinol might sound intimidating, but this formula from Nécessaire is a favorite. The first time I used it, my skin got a little irritated, so proceed with caution if you have ultra-sensitive skin, but once I got used to it, it has been amazing for the little bumps on my arms and occasional bacne that I get. The instructions say you can use daily, but two to three times a week is enough for me.

Honey I Washed the Kids Shower Gel
Lush’s fragrant and hydrating shower gels actually make me look forward to showering. Honey I Washed the Kids is my all-time favorite from the brand. It features honey, orange oil, and bergamot oil as its star ingredients. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated, and the smell is just *chef’s kiss.*

Dream Cream Body Lotion
Dream cream isn’t fragrant, so it’s great for anyone sensitive to smells, but it’s still one of Lush’s most luxurious and hydrating formulas. It’s great for reactive skin types like mine because it contains a calming blend of oat milk, lavender, and chamomile. I have acne-prone skin that can get a little red at times, and this calms it right down almost instantly.

Stone Crop Body Oil
Éminence is such an elegant organic skincare brand. In fact, as a beauty editor with years of experience and product trials under my belt, I think it’s one of the best clean brands on the market. The formulas are beautiful, and the brand’s Stone Crop line is one of its most impressive. This body oil contains soothing, calming, and hydrating ingredients like stone crop, arnica, rose-hip oil, and avocado oil. The best part? The formula is never greasy. It leaves a soft, matte finish on the skin, so it works perfect during the fall/winter season with a heavier lotion or body for added hydration.

Yuzu Solid Body Oil
Solid body oils are so slept on IMO. This one is an absolute dream for dry, dull skin because it contains tropical oils and vitamin-rich camu camu to bring radiance back to skin. It’s also great if you struggle with dark spots on the body and want to even out your skin tone.
