Venture Corp Q2 profit edges up to S$57.1 million; H1 earnings remain lower
[SINGAPORE] Technology solutions provider Venture Corp posted a 2.3 per increase in net profit to S$57.1 million for its second quarter ended June 2025, up from S$55.9 million in the previous quarter.
Revenue rose 4.7 per cent to S$645.3 million for the period, from S$616.6 million in Q1, the mainboard-listed group said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday (Aug 6). The increase was driven by growth across most of its technology domains.
However, for H1 2025, the group saw an 8.6 per cent drop in net profit to about S$113 million, from S$123.7 million the year before.
Revenue for the period fell 8.8 per cent to S$1.3 billion, from S$1.4 billion previously.
Venture attributed the decline to softer customer demand for its lifestyle technology offerings, as well as improved reliability and longevity of a customer’s key product – due to the group’s research and development and design efforts – which triggered fewer product replacements.
Earnings per share (EPS) for Q2 stood at S$0.198, up slightly from S$0.193 in Q1. For the first half of the year, EPS fell to S$0.392, from S$0.426 a year ago.

The company declared a total dividend of S$0.30 per share; this comprised a S$0.25 interim dividend and a S$0.05 special dividend, up from an interim dividend of S$0.25 in H1 2024. The dividend will be paid on Sep 12, after the books are closed on Sep 2.
Venture generated net cash of S$149.8 million in H1, down from S$270.3 million the year before. However, its working capital position improved by S$119.1 million, driven by lower inventories and better trade receivables and payables.
The group acknowledged ongoing uncertainties from the broad-based US tariffs and continued softness in the lifestyle segment. Still, it said it remains confident in its ability to “turn volatility into opportunities”, citing its resilient business model and strong balance sheet.
Shares of Venture closed at S$12.72 on Wednesday, down S$0.10 or 0.8 per cent, ahead of its results announcement.
