Nicole Scherzinger Rushed From a ‘Sunset Boulevard’ Matinee to the 2025 Tony Awards

Getting ready for the 2025 Tony Awards after a matinee performance of Sunset Boulevard, Nicole Scherzinger is trying to keep cool. “No matter what I’m doing—whether it’s preparing for a show or even a major red carpet like the Tonys, I try to set a zen environment,” Scherzinger tells Vogue ahead of the awards show. “For a performance, I always require ample time for a warm-up, while on the other hand for the red carpet, I’m often limited on time—especially today.”

Luckily, she has her team by her side the whole way. “I’m surrounded by loved ones today. That gives me strength and keeps me going even on the most stressful days,” she says.

To celebrate her nomination for best performance by a leading actress in a musical, Scherzinger wanted to pay homage to Old Hollywood glamour. With the help of her stylist, Michael Philouze, she turned to Los Angeles natives Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, who fashioned her a custom red dress for the occasion.
