Anna Sawai Shines Bright in Head-to-Toe Crystals at the 2025 SAG Awards
Anna Sawai is quite literally shining at the 2025 SAG Awards. The Shōgun actor, who is nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series, continued her red carpet hot streak with a strapless illusion column dress from Armani Privé.
The sculptural bustier dress featured a red georgette front panel coated in a gradient of larger crystals which scattered from the neckline into microscopic jewels throughout the body. As the top of the dress peeled away from Sawai’s body, it was connected to the black silk velvet back panel with a triangle of mesh. Stylist Karla Welch added a pair of teetering black Christian Louboutin peep-toe platforms to Sawai’s look that matched the back of her dress.

Accompanying her glimmering Armani Privé number were pieces from the Reflection de Cartier collection: Sawai, a Cartier ambassador, wore dangling diamond earrings, bracelets, and a ring set in white gold.
Apparently no stranger to color theory, Sawai has rocked several red looks on the red carpet over the course of awards season. She took home an Emmy for her role as Toda Mariko wearing a red strapless Vera Wang and celebrated her win at the after-party in a cherry Louis Vuitton scoop neck dress with a tulip skirt. Clearly Anna Sawai knows that red is her lucky color.
