Judge dismisses Trump's federal election subversion case, all charges dropped

A federal judge on Monday granted special counsel Jack Smith’s request to dismiss the federal election fraud case against President-elect Donald Trump, bringing an end to the criminal charges that accused Mr. Trump of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
