The Demon Deacons come into this one looking to snap a two-game losing streak after dropping a 31-24 game to North Carolina. Wake Forest will need QB Michael Kern to fix the turnovers if they want a chance against the Hurricanes.
Meanwhile, Miami will be looking to bounce back after a 28-23 loss to Georgia Tech. Despite Heisman-hopeful QB Cam Ward lighting up the stat sheet with 348 passing yards and three touchdowns, Miami’s defense struggled to contain the Yellow Jackets’ ground game, giving up 271 rushing yards.
Miami’s offense is still one of the most explosive in the country, but the Hurricanes will need their defense to shore up if they want to avoid another upset. Facing a Wake Forest team prone to turnovers might be just what the doctor ordered to get back on track.
