5 Buzzy Color Trends Everyone Will Wear With Jeans in 2026

I find that one of the easiest ways to lean into the current fashion mood is by dipping my toe into some of the season’s buzziest color trends. And there’s no doubt that jeans are the perfect canvas to try them with. The casual air of denim pares back a punchy trend, and gives it a more effortless feel. Moreover, there are certain shades that just look so darn good with blue, white, khaki and black denim.

After analyzing the spring 2026 collections, Pantone’s color trend predictions, and of course, what the fashion set is already backing, there are five color trends that are on my radar for 2026 that feel fresh and will unquestionably give my denim an of-the-moment look. From saturated primary colors such as tomato red and cobalt blue, to spring-forward sweet candy pinks, below, you’ll find a chic assortment of 2026 color trends, all of which are really going to thrive when they meet your favorite pair of jeans.

1. Tomato

Bold, primary colors had a huge presence in the S/S 26 collections, among them bright and bold tomato red. Designers such as Chanel, Stella McCartney, and Loewe all backed the joyful color—whether layered under sporty anoraks, or in the form of textured dresses or skirts that skimmed the hips—the runways confirmed that the vibrant hue is here to stay. The color looks so chic paired with blue jeans—opt for a sporty jacket or polo to lean into the trend.

Cloud Dancer has been named Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2026—an airy, cloudlike neutral white, that feels particularly apt as we head into 2026 with a fresh perspective and clean palette. For a chic look opt for a knit sweater or elegant overcoat in the serene hue and pair with your creamy white jeans.

From saturated cobalt blue to subtle icy blue hues, if designers from the S/S 26 collections conveyed one thing, it’s that blue is the It-color of 2026—oozing an aura of optimism, joy and relaxation. What shade of blue you choose is up to you. Brands such as Jil Sander and Victoria Beckham made the case for eye-popping Klein blue—a saturated primary colored shade that appeared on single-breasted coats and sleek sweaters. The shades presented at Tory Burch and Coperni leaned into calming maritime blues—a chic choice for a statement coat or draped dress. Whereas the hues turned cool and frosty at Fendi, Altuzarra, and Acne Studios with delicate lace and satin tops and dresses. One thing’s for certain, these blue hues will look gorgeous with your jeans this spring.

5. Lime Chartreuse

One of the more unexpected hues that attracted our attention on the spring/summer 2026 runways was a citrus hue—somewhere between lime and chartreuse that was hard to ignore. Prada featured the bold color via a stunning boat-neck pleated dress, while designers such as Erdem, Simone Rocha, Ferragamo brought us the zesty hue in fabrics such as satin and leather. No doubt it will brighten up your everyday looks—rejuvenating our basic denim outfits.
