28 Accessories That'll Make Every Fall Outfit Look Elegant

When I first moved to New York, I loathed getting dressed for fall. I’m from the South, where we pretty much had one season all year long, which didn’t require much layering or effort when it came to putting together outfits every day. But after some time in the city, I’ve learned that I can rely on accessories to do the heavy lifting, and now, the thought of layering my clothes doesn’t make me want to sigh.
I’m talking handbags, jewelry, belts, and even bag charms. These are the small and effortless additions you’ll need for fall. My wardrobe is filled with essentials and basics, so I’m always making sure I leave the house with at least a few accessories. I don’t subscribe to fashion rules much, so I disagree with the notion that an outfit can have too many accessories. This fall, rather than overspending to make my outfits look more elegant, I’m focusing on solid accessories to add to the foundation of my wardrobe. If you’re looking for a few new accessories to add to yours, keep scrolling.
