A 10-year-old boy in Thailand has had to undergo a laser tattoo removal procedure after bullies reportedly inked an insulting word onto his forehead.
The boy, named Kao, from Kanchanaburi province in western Thailand, had the word “pussy” tattooed onto his face by the other boys, who allegedly used a makeshift tattoo gun, reported the Associated Press and NewsCom.Au.
Kao also had inkings put on his arms and legs, the AP added.
Local tattoo artist Janjira “Frame” Kaewket offered to help and remove the tattoos, according to local video website Newsflare, after seeing photos of them online.

The artist, who has been called a Good Samaritan following the incident, treated the boy on Saturday, Oct. 4, for free, applying numbing cream before using a laser to burn off the markings, per Viral Press footage shared by AP.
Kao was seen in the clip lying calmly on a bed while wearing goggles, occasionally making slight faces, while the artist got to work removing the tattoos on his forehead.
“I was shocked that someone would dare tattoo such a young child. But I assured him the tattoos could easily be removed because they were only using a tool, a sewing needle attached to a pen,” Kaewket said of the incident, according to AP.
“The removal itself only took 15 minutes to finish, but we had to leave the anaesthetic on for about an hour because the boy is still young,” she added.

The tattoo artist continued, “It wasn’t just on his forehead. There were over ten spots on his legs, all of which we managed to remove for him.”
“The boy explained that because he was just a child, he simply did whatever the adults told him to do,” she shared, explaining how it would take three sessions to fully erase the markings.
